Does a project have to replace our current applications?

No. A supported connection, clearer public page or small staff tool may address the problem. We first identify which parts your team relies on and what the proposed change needs to preserve. Application recovery is useful when the cause of a failure must be established before choosing a direction.

Can you connect a booking or job system to finance?

That depends on the tools, account arrangements and operations they support. The scope needs to identify when a job becomes eligible for the finance handover, which information finance requires and how rejection or uncertainty is handled. A completed visit does not automatically establish that every invoicing requirement is satisfied.

Does a payment result also confirm a service booking?

Only if the business's approved process establishes that relationship and the actual system implements it. Payment, capacity, accepted scope and fulfilment can require separate decisions. Development checks must use the provider's permitted test arrangements; any later operational verification must also follow its rules and the business's authorisation.

Can different customer contacts see different material?

A portal can be designed around supported roles and relationships. The organisation must define those rules. A contact who receives an invoice may not be the person permitted to approve work at a site. Review both permitted access and denied access, including old links and departed contacts. Can the website include languages other than English?

Yes, a project can scope additional language content and its technical delivery. Agree the exact page and message set, qualified reviewers and the process for future changes. A translated page does not establish translation certification, staff fluency or support coverage in that language. Project communication and handover arrangements are agreed separately.

How do you assess accessibility and performance?

Choose representative customer and staff tasks, use the intended content and review relevant devices and interactions. Keyboard access, labels, error recovery and loading conditions can all affect completion. Automated checks contribute evidence but do not establish every accessibility need or guarantee a universal performance result. Any formal assessment needs its own scope.

What do you need to investigate software another supplier built?

Begin with the failing task, available documentation and the access your organisation controls. Source, hosting, provider accounts or release records may be needed later through an authorised arrangement. Missing access can limit the findings. Do not send credentials in the initial message.

How will we know a migration is usable?

Review complete records and their relationships, not only import totals. A customer, serviced location, contact, active job and corrected document may need to remain distinguishable. Trial the receiving staff task, agree how late edits are handled and establish the cutover decision. Migration services cover that planning.

What is included after delivery?

The written scope should identify handover tasks, account ownership and any continuing maintenance. Hosting, subscriptions, monitoring and support are separate commitments to make explicit. A development engagement does not automatically provide continuous incident response or responsibility for every later provider change.

How do we get a useful estimate?

Bring one complete task, the current tools and the result your team wants to accept. Include deadlines and dependencies that are already known.
